Venice Music Project welcomes Trevor Scott to the team for a six-week internship in Venice! ♪♫♬

We are looking forward to his arrival this Saturday 11th May!

Trevor will divide his time between studying Italian at the Istituto Venezia, and working with the local Venice Music Project team on a myriad of activities during his six week stay. Venice Music Project's objective is to provide a setting which allows him to fully immerse himself in Italian language and culture, while also expanding on his knowledge of Baroque repertoire. Venice Music Project will provide Trevor with the opportunity to assist at concerts and participate in marketing and PR activities, which is complementary to his education in opera. Not to mention some research in local archives in search of some hidden musical gems. He may even surprise you with a performance so stay tuned!

Now in his own words, allow us to introduce you to Trevor!

Hello! My name is Trevor Scott, and I’m currently a sophomore at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, NY, USA, studying vocal performance. I originally hail from St. Louis, MO.

My interests include opera performance, bicycling, traveling, and just sitting back with a cup of iced coffee and relaxing! One of my life’s goals is to ride my bike across all 50 states of the USA (New Jersey is next), and I definitely plan to do some cycling while I’m here in Italy!

Another fun fact is that I have a dog named Stella back at home—she’s a Pekapoo (and yes, they’re as adorable as they sound). Feel free to come up to me and ask if you want more pictures. I look forward to being here for the rest of the season, and I can’t wait to learn more about the beautiful art that is created here!!
