We have had a slight change in programming for 21 and 22 September,
-- but you are going to love it!

Dear VMP Friends and Community,

All of us at VMP have been looking forward to performing Amor Prigioniero for you again, and I know many of you have planned around being able to be in Venice to hear it. I am really sorry to have to disappoint you.

As many of you know, I have had a family health situation ongoing since November, 2018, and I unexpectedly need to be away from Venice next weekend. We all tried very hard to find a soprano who could sing in my place, but it just wasn't possible.

But here at VMP, we love great solutions, and we have one for you now!! Elena Biscuola and Carlo Rossi have been hard at work on a wonderful concert program for you to replace Amor Prigioniero, and since we have Michele Favaro with us on both traverse flute and oboe, you are really in for an extra-special treat!

One of the things I really love about our little musical community is that everyone is so happy to collaborate and help each other out. We are all so grateful to our musicians for rallying at this moment and helping find a solution, and we are also grateful to all of you for your understanding. We will let you know as soon as we are able to reschedule!

All the best,
