Victoria Massey

We are happy to present you the guest of this weekend, a irish Contralto, Victoria Massey. She will enchant you with arias, from oratories and masses composed by Bach, Handel, Pergolesi...

Victoria Massey, Contralto from Dublin (Ireland) is an International concert singer, having performed in Mexico, Portugal, Italy, Austria, Poland, the UK and Ireland as a soloist. Her most called upon repertoire is Mahler and sacred music. In the field of Opera she has worked at Covent Garden (London) Teatro La Fenice (Venice) Macerata & Chiemgau International Opera Festivals, Opera Ireland and Opera Theatre Company She won First Prize at the C.A Seghizzi Lieder Competition in Gorizia, Italy.
In August, Victoria permormed in Handel's Messiah as part of Ravenna Festival. Victoria studied singing at the College of Music in Dublin and at the Mozarteum in Salzburg, Austria where she studied Voice, Lieder and Oratorio. She holds a First Class Honours Mmus (Perf) from DIT Conservatory of Music and Drama in Dublin.

Victoria now lives in Venice and this concert has a special significance for her, being her first concert with Venice Music Project. This is why we are so happy to have her with us!
