An important message in the wake of the Venice floods ♪♫♬

Dear Friends,

With immense regret we must inform you that the concert scheduled for Sunday 17th November in Venice will be cancelled due to the ongoing flooding and devastation caused by high tides. Our staff will focus their efforts on supporting the clean-up of St George’s Anglican church, Venice Music Project’s regular concert venue, and the local businesses which provide services for our organization.

We realize that many of you have already bought a ticket and we are committed to providing a full refund to anyone who requests it. We are also offering an alternative solution which is to donate the money raised for this concert to associations whose mission centers on the preservation and safeguarding of Venice’s cultural heritage, particularly those that have been affected during the current floods.

The Venice Music Project wishes to support the Benedetto Marcello Conservatory, as well as other associations that may be in need of financial support to assist with their recovery.
