We’ve reached the end of our 2019 season!

While our resident soprano continues our first tour of the USA accompanied by a small ensemble of the Venice Music Project, we are happy to welcome to our local stage guest mezzo-soprano Johanna von der Deken

♪♫♬

We've come to the end of another season!
But like all Venice Music Project concert seasons, we will be unearthing and reviving more musical gems with many new surprises for you in 2020!

Our final concert is entitled "Love and Despair". A title that holds significant value for us today. When we planned the concert, we could not have foreseen the series of calamitous events caused by the high tides, which unfolded in Venice between November 12-19.2019... But we do know one thing for certain: that love is what guides us in everything we do, and we’re not only referring to our own association’s activities but also for our actions this past week supporting others in need, and the camaraderie among locals driven by a common love for their city. We also thank those who donated in favor of those affected. Love in this context is for Venice, but so is despair because such an event above all provokes much despair... But we do know that Amor Vincit Omnia, and that you cannot have one without the other. And despair is in a sense the proof that one loves, and that love exists. With this Sunday’s program we will demonstrate it to you!

Don't miss it! It will be the last opportunity to hear us perform in 2019!
