LITTLE BAROQUE TOUR
“Little Baroque Tour” is a charming musical journey into the vast world of Baroque Sonatas, of which the protagonists are two of the most popular instruments in the XVII and XVIIIth centuries: the “sweet” flute, the “straight” flute, and the harpsichord. The program accompanies you through the geographical areas most musically prolific at the time (Germany, England, and Italy), featuring more and less famous composers, among whom is Diogenio Bigaglia, born on the island of Murano, who lived in the Benedictine monastery of San Giorgio Maggiore, of which he became prior in 1713.
Music by J.E. Galliard, G. Telemann, H. Purcell and D. Bigaglia
Fabiano Martignago, Baroque Flutes
Angelica Selmo, Clavicembalo
