SEASON 2023 – 10th ANNIVERSARY
Saturday, 26th November at 7:00 pm
Change of Program:
THE SONG OF THE NIGHT: The Songbird, The Stars and the Tender Longing of Love
We are sorry to inform you that Saturday’s concert “Didone by Benedetto Marcello” has been replaced by an other program “The Song of the Night: the songbird, the stars and the tender longing of love” due to the illness of our soprano Liesl Odenweller.
We are happy to welcome back Maria Chiara Ardolino as our guest soprano. She will be performing with Venice Music Project musicians, Gioele Gusberti – cellist – and Marija Jovanovic – harpsichordist.
The program – as you might have guessed by the title – is dedicated to the magic hours of the night, where love and life are able to find and explore their deepest meaning. Just like Romeo and Juliet, who were able to share their love in the deepest moment of the night, away from everyone and everything but the nurturing gaze of the stars.
